John-Kamen was born in Anlaby, England, the most youthful of three offspring of a Nigerian criminological clinician father and a Norwegian model mother.She went to elementary school in Kirk Ella and further for secondary education at Hull Collegiate School,and likewise prepared at the National Youth Theater in London.In 2012, she moved on from the Central School of Speech and Drama.
